Correspondências for me is the best movie of 2016. Correspondências is example of the 10/10 movie. It is not just "some" movie, it has an eternal message. I saw this movie many times, really many times. The direction is really abstract. Majestic pictures, great tempo and scenes. I loved whole cast of Correspondências, even the enemies of the main character. I never liked Biography titles so it's fair to say i never thought I'd love Correspondências. Plot of Correspondências
The film was inspired by the letters between the two leading Portuguese poets exchanged, Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen and Jorge de Sena, that in exile (1957-1978). Thanks to her poetry and letters, the film builds a dialogue between longing and belonging, "want to fill the summer away with hours of entertainment." A At the same time, it represents a match with our own lives in a fictional relationship and involvement, us together.
