Really fantastic Action movie, with deep message carried on. Wonderful inspiration to young actors and directors. The Taking of Pelham 123 stands out above all other films I've seen at least for last 5 years. I expected something really average, but I was completely wrong!. The direction is really abstract. Majestic pictures, great tempo and scenes. The sum of small details is incredible. When a director makes movie and all of their scenes so influential that you don't want to pick your favorites, you know it is just a good, quality film. The Taking of Pelham 123 is definitely in my top 3 of Crime movies. You have to watch it in 2020 online.... Show more

Plot of The Taking of Pelham 123

In the early afternoon, four armed men kidnap a subway in Manhattan. You stop on a gentle slope and decouple the first car so that the rest of the train can retreat. Ryder is their leader; He calls Walter Garber, the dispatcher who oversees this line. Garber is a temporarily degraded superior during a bribery investigation. Ryder charges $ 10 million an hour or he will shoot hostages. He'll only take care of Tan. The mayor agrees to the payment, news of the hostage situation is causing the stock market to collapse and it is not clear what Ryder really wants, or Garber is part of the deal.
