One of the best movies made in 1959 year. Wonderful inspiration to young actors and directors. It carries meaningful lesson. I expected average crap movie at most, I received amazing movie. The direction is really abstract. Majestic pictures, great tempo and scenes. The acting is really unusual in a good meaning. I never liked Drama titles so it's fair to say i never thought I'd love Black Orpheus. It just set the new standard for Fantasy movies. Great fun is guaranteed, enjoy watching it.
Plot of Black Orpheus
In the heady atmosphere of the carnival in Rio to meet two people and fall in love. European, country girl ran away from home to avoid the man who came to her in order to look at. She is convinced that he would kill her. She appears to stay in Rio with a cousin Serafina. Orfeo works as a tram conductor and leads to Mira - Mira unless the fears anyway. Orpheus and Eurydice know each other as they fall deeply in love. Mira is furious with jealousy and disappears when Euridice Orfeo is determined to find them.
