Really fantastic Biography movie, with deep message carried on. Circus of Books set a new standard for modern movie making. Circus of Books is an outstanding top class movie. Circus of Books has a reputation of one of the best movies of it's times. The direction is really abstract. Majestic pictures, great tempo and scenes. All actors played their roles best they could. Not many "excellent" movies that have ever been created, but Circus of Books, certainly is one of them. Circus of Books will be top movie for a long time yet. You just have to see it.... Show more
Plot of Circus of Books
In 1976, Karen and Barry Mason fell on hard times and were looking for a way to support their young family when I answered an ad in the Los Angeles Times. Larry Flynt of Hustler Magazine looking for distributors. What led them to side expects shortly to her in the LGBT community fully dive deeper and deeper, because it has the local store, the Circus of Books. Ten years later, they would become the largest distributors of gay porn in the US. The film focuses on the double life led her, trying to keep the balance being made up of parents at a time when LGBT culture has not yet accepted. Their faces contain many challenges in federal prison pornography prosecution and they that business will be a place of refuge at the height of the AIDS crisis.
