Plot of The Spikes Gang

In the Old West, vulnerable teenagers Will, Les and Tod find a wounded bank robber asking for help. At first the boys are afraid and hesitate to help. They are afraid of getting into trouble with the law and their parents. Moved by the begging of the wounded, they finally agree to hide the robber in Will's barn and clean his wounds. Over the next few days, they'll bring food, drink, and clean clothes to an outlaw named Harry Spikes. When the sheriff and his group come and ask questions, Will hides the fact that the thief is hidden in his family's barn. After he's well enough, Harry Spikes thanks the boys for their help and vows to help them in return if they ever need his help. He takes Will's horse and leaves the county for the Mexican border.
