Timelock was a big surprise of 1996. It would be hard to find another performance made this good. Timelock stands out above all other films I've seen at least for last 5 years. Timelock has a reputation of one of the best movies of it's times. The direction is really abstract. Majestic pictures, great tempo and scenes. The acting is just incredible (especially Martin Kove, I'm sure no one was sure about him). Not many "excellent" movies that have ever been created, but Timelock, certainly is one of them. Plot of Timelock
At the age of 23, a penal colony in a distant galaxy falls into anarchy if the prisoner is loaded the virus into the computer system. Although Cryonic suspension that gives the most dangerous criminals, with computers for the control of mortal man, has been used, they are determined already in circulation and cause chaos. With a band of brilliant but dangerous inmates in control, little thief and prison bus driver must be against these lawless men for their own survival.
