Plot of Ghost in the Shell

In the near future, human organs will be improved thanks to cybernetics technology developed by Cutter's powerful Hanka Robotics Corporation. Dr. Ouelet is responsible for the development of the secret project 2571 of a complete mechanical body to be connected to the human brain. He uses the brain of a young woman who lost her parents during a cyber attack as the subject of a prototype. A year later, the woman was given the rank of major and joined Section 9, the anti-terrorist division headed by Chief Daisuke Aramaki, who worked with agents Batou and Togusa. He has to use medication to integrate his brain into a mechanical body and have no memories of an earlier life. When section 9 chases the terrorist Kuze, the major learns the secrets of Hanka robotics and the experiment that has gone through them.
